My Reindeer Books Backstory

The first experience I ever had with live reindeer was when I was quite small and I was visiting my Canadian grandparents for Christmas. Some live reindeer were on display at the local shopping center. I remember being quite disappointed that they didn’t look anything like the beloved main character in the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Christmas TV show. I got over my disappointment and now enjoy reading books about reindeer to my students  whenever I can. If you are a fan of reindeer books as well, this post is for you.
