Inspirational Bloggers Recognized: Encouraging Blogger Award Winner 2020

It’s that time of year, everyone. What time is it? It’s time to announce the finalists for the first-ever Encouraging Blogger Award! In an effort to recognize inspirational, encouraging bloggers, I’m happy to present this year’s finalists. I’ll also announce the winner further on down the post. At the end of the post, I give readers an opportunity to nominate an inspirational, encouraging blogger in a short nomination form. I’m always looking for more inspirational, encouraging blogs to read. Blogging can be tough, especially if you are juggling it along with a full-time job and/or parenting. If you are in need of encouragement and inspiration, the words of these inspiring bloggers are worth the read.

What is the Encouraging Blogger Award?

The Encouraging Blogger Award was created to recognize any blogger who encourages others with his or her posts. Inspirational bloggers encourage others in some way. Bloggers may encourage others to travel, try new things, have a positive mindset, or overcome adversity, for example. An encouraging blog may encourage other bloggers or give business tips. Many blogs are encouraging and we don’t even realize it. Bloggers nominate fellow bloggers for this award, and nominees write a post answering a few questions. After that, the nominee nominates other bloggers.

How are Finalists Chosen?

Finalists are chosen from those who chose to write a post nominating others for the Encouraging Blogger Award. By offering up nominations, these finalists have made an effort to be inspirational and encouraging to others. Encouraging and inspiring others takes effort, so I’d like to give something back to the hard-working bloggers who gift others a lift. Each of these finalists submitted a form with the link to the post they wrote nominating others. In their post, the inspirational, encouraging blogger answered a few questions. Let’s find out what they each had to tell us.

Finalist 1: Cindy Moore

Cindy’s blog is called Cindy Goes Beyond, and she strives to “encourage others to live life beyond the edges of fear, comfort zones and limiting beliefs.”

In addition to nominating ten inspirational, encouraging bloggers, Cindy gave some encouraging advice to other members of the blogging community. She wrote, “Blogging is an amazing experience that shifts and grows as you do. Find what you are passionate about and then share from your unique perspective. Use your words to offer your gifts to the world. Don’t worry if your blog isn’t perfect. As you learn your blog reflects that knowledge and growth. Desiring perfection will hold you back and limit your joy.” Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement, Cindy, and thank you for passing nominations along to others.

Finalist 2: Ana Gonzalo

In her blog, Goat Dog Simple, Ana writes about “financial independence & simple living”.

Ana chose to encourage eight nominees by recognizing them in a blog post. She also offered some words of inspiration and encouragement for fellow members of the blogosphere by writing these words: “Get started. The practice over time will help you develop your writing style. You’ll be amazed at how much there is to learn and how quickly you will master it. Find support in blogging communities.” Ana is certainly doing her part to be supportive by passing along the Encouraging Blogger Award nomination to eight other bloggers, and I appreciate her efforts.

Finalist 3: Betty Rojugbokan

Betty is the founder of the All Round Jesus blog. In her words, the purpose of her blog is “to provide encouragement for today’s Christian through all of life’s challenges and to equip them to live a victorious Christian life.”

Here are the words of inspiration and encouragement Betty offers to other bloggers: “Don’t compare yourself with other bloggers, everyone’s timing and situation is different. If you compare yourself with other bloggers, you will feel frustrated. Determine the pace that works for you and be consistent in your efforts, and your blog will grow with time.” Great advice! Betty also notes that “the blogging world is an encouraging and supportive one so don’t be an island. Collaborate with other bloggers and have fun doing so.” These are excellent words of encouragement! Thank you, Betty, for passing along the Encouraging Blogger Award nomination to nine other bloggers.

Finalist 4: Hadassah Treu

Hadassah’s blog is called On the Way Blog, and its purpose is “to encourage, motivate and inspire the readers to grow spiritually, to put their hope in God, and to move forward on the way of faith. My blog provides Biblical guidance and solutions to various problems in different areas of life.”

Hadassah chose to nominate ten other bloggers for the Encouraging Blogger Award, and in doing so gave each one some inspiration and encouragement. Her words of advice to other bloggers are to “take their time and invest in preparation before start blogging. When I started, I didn’t know anything about SEO or how to do keyword research and the technical side of blogging. I needed to learn all this the hard way.” Thank you for sharing this valuable insight, Hadassah.

Finalist 5: Geraldine Lua

Geraldine produces a lifestyle blog called Geraldine Talks with the goal of offering information about travel, food, and life in general.

In passing the nomination along to seven other inspirational bloggers, Geraldine has shown that she is an encouraging blogger. Her words of wisdom for bloggers are “Talk about what matters to you. It’s going to be a dang chore if you deviate and start talking about things you aren’t interested in. Blogging, in a sense, would feel like school, where you’re just writing some boring research paper!” So true! Thanks for the great reminder shared with such honesty, Geraldine.

Here’s the Winner!

After reading and re-reading the posts these bloggers had written to inspire and encourage others, I came to a decision. I enjoyed reading every single one, as well as the entry form each submitted. These hard-working bloggers all deserve accolades for their dedication and efforts. I do need to choose a winner, though. Therefore, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Hadassah Treu of On the Way Blog is the Encouraging Blogger Award winner for 2020! Along with her $100 gift certificate, Hadassah has now earned the first-ever Encouraging Blogger Award Winner official badge and may display it on her blog, if she wishes. Congratulations, Hadassah!
